Royal Caribbean doesn’t publish fixed package prices. Instead, prices move by ship, sailing date and demand, and they’re often heavily discounted before you sail. Here’s what each package includes, typical price ranges as of October 2026, and how to tell whether one will pay off for you.
Drink packages
| Package | What’s included | Typical price (per person, per day, before gratuity) |
|---|---|---|
| Deluxe Beverage Package | Cocktails, beer, wine by the glass and spirits up to a per-drink cap, plus everything in Refreshment | About $56–$120 |
| Refreshment Package | Specialty coffee, fresh juice, bottled water, mocktails and soda | About $29–$42 |
| Classic Soda Package | Fountain soda | About $10–$18 |
A service charge (gratuity) is added to the package price. Packages work onboard and at Royal Caribbean’s private destinations, Perfect Day at CocoCay and Labadee.
The rules that trip people up
- Everyone 21+ in the cabin must buy the Deluxe package if one adult does.
- The package covers the whole cruise. You can’t buy it for selected days only.
- Drinks over the per-drink cap are discounted, not free.
Is the Deluxe package worth it?
At an average of $11–$12 per cocktail, a Deluxe package priced around $70–$80 per day needs about 6–7 drinks a day to break even, once you count gratuity. Coffee and bottled water count toward that total. If you’ll have a couple of glasses of wine at dinner, skip it and pay as you go.
Dining packages
The Unlimited Dining Package covers specialty restaurants such as Chops Grille, Giovanni’s, Izumi and Hooked, usually with one entrée per person per meal. It pays off if you plan specialty dinners on four or more nights of a 7-night cruise. Otherwise, book individual restaurants.
Wi-Fi (VOOM)
Royal Caribbean’s Starlink-powered Wi-Fi is fast enough for video calls and streaming. Buy it per device for the whole cruise. Pre-cruise prices beat onboard prices, and multi-device bundles bring the per-device cost down for families.
How to get the best price
- Buy before you sail. Pre-cruise sales of 20–50% off are routine. The onboard price is the highest.
- Re-check the Cruise Planner. If the price drops, cancel and rebook the package at the lower rate before your cutoff.
- Watch holiday sales. Black Friday and wave season (January–March) bring the deepest package discounts.
- Ask us about perks. Some promotions include onboard credit you can put toward packages. See how to get free onboard credit.
