MSC simplified its drink packages for U.S. and Caribbean sailings in 2025. The Easy and Easy Plus packages are gone from North American cruises, leaving three main options. Here’s how they work as of October 2026.

Prices vary by sailing and are lower pre-cruise. Bundled fare tiers (see our cabin guide) may include a package.
Rules to know
- 15 alcoholic drinks per day maximum (6 a.m. to 6 a.m.), with no limit on non-alcoholic drinks
- If an adult buys a package, all minors in the cabin must buy the Minors package
- Premium Extra works in all bars and restaurants, including specialty venues, and at Ocean Cay
- Not included: minibar, room service, souvenir glasses and a few signature venues such as the robotic Starship Club bar
Is Premium Extra worth it?
At about $85 per day, you need roughly 6–7 drinks a day, counting coffee and water, to break even. It’s worth it for couples who drink steadily throughout the day. For light drinkers, pay as you go.
Other add-ons
- Specialty dining packages bundle meals at the steakhouse, teppanyaki and seafood venues at a discount.
- Wi-Fi packages are sold per device. Buy them pre-cruise for the lowest price.
- Daily service charges are added automatically.
FAQ
Does MSC still sell the Easy Plus package?
No. MSC stopped selling Easy Plus in August 2025, and both Easy and Easy Plus had already been removed from Caribbean and North American sailings.
Do MSC drink packages work at Ocean Cay?
Yes. Premium Extra applies at Ocean Cay, though the island’s menu may be smaller than onboard.
